Terms and Conditions


Ellis' Elite Pet Care – Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Services

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any service. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms:

 

1. Services Provided

Ellis' elite pet care offers professional dog walking, pet sitting, and related pet care services as agreed upon at the time of booking. All services are provided with the utmost care and attention.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • (Pet Sitting) Full payment is due prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • (Pet Sitting) A 50% deposit may be required depending on the length/date of stay.
  • (Dog Walking) Full payment is due at the time of service or by the Friday during the following week. Unless agreed upon otherwise ie. Weekly/Monthly Invoices
  • We accept cash, credit card, bank transfer.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • (Pet Sitting) Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full.
  • (Dog Walking) Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice may be charged in full. 
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations (less than 2 hours before service) are non-refundable.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued at our discretion.

 

4. Pet Behavior and Health

  • All pets must be non-aggressive and in good health unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Clients must inform us of any behavioral issues or health concerns prior to booking.
  • (Pet Sitting) We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet shows aggressive behavior or poses a risk to staff or other animals in or out of the home.
  • (Dog Walking) We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet shows aggressive behavior or poses a risk to staff or other animals.

 

5. Vaccinations and Licensing

  • All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations to join Group Dog Walks.
  • Proof of vaccination may be requested before service begins.

 

6. Emergencies and Veterinary Care

  • In the event of a pet emergency, we will make every effort to contact the owner.
  • If we cannot reach the owner, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense.
  • We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from necessary emergency decisions made in good faith.

 

7. Keys and Access

  • Clients are responsible for providing reliable access to their home and/or pet.
  • We will take all reasonable precautions to keep keys and codes secure.

 

8. Liability

  • Ellis' elite pet care is insured and will take all reasonable precautions to protect your home and pets.
  • However, we are not liable for pet injuries, loss, illness, or death that occurs outside of our control.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by your pet during our service period.

 

9. Weather Policy

  • Walks may be shortened or rescheduled in cases of extreme weather unless otherwise agreed upon(e.g. lightning, heavy snow, excessive heat).
  • Pet safety is our priority, and alternative arrangements may be made as needed.

 

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • All client and pet information will be kept confidential and used only to provide the best service possible.

 

11. Photos and Social Media

  • We may take photos of your pet during service for updates or social media, unless otherwise requested in writing.

 

12. Changes to Terms

  • These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
